Sex and the city designer shoes

Someone's infringing on a woman's right to shoes! In fact, Sarah Jessica Parker tried to use the iconic Sex and the City stoop for a shoe photoshoot and got into a little bit of trouble. Apparently the real-life owners are not too keen on fans making a sanctuary out of a building they choose to call home. You know who probably wouldn't have minded? Carrie Bradshaw.

Sex and the City: Carrie Bradshaw’s Shoes – Footwear News
S ex and the City and Manolo Blahnik: for the past decade it has been nigh-on impossible to mention one without the other, such is the symbiotic relationship between the show's heroine, Carrie, and the high-end shoe brand. The US TV series may have made household names of a slew of now well-known designers — indeed, much has been made of the unique relationship between the show and its loose attitude towards product placement — but did you know that Gummy Bears get more mentions than Calvin Klein? Or that Tivo is referenced more than Ralph Lauren? Who knew that Band Aid is mentioned three times as many as Armani?

I’ve Spent $60,000 On Shoes — & I DON’T Regret It
Everyone has their own personality be it Bright-eyed and innocent, sassy and intriguing, egotistical and autocratic, sexy and confident; and the list goes on. In Sex and the City we are blessed with a healthy portion of exactly what it says on the tin. Plenty of Sex, delivered in a fashion forward, big if lonely city. The plot is based on four New York mid-thirties career women, Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, who appreciate frank and cynical dialogues surrounding all sorts.
Many women loved shoes before Carrie did, but she gave us license to bring our shoe obsessions into the light. But her one-shouldered minidress and gold lame boots say otherwise, even if an anything-goes game of spin-the-bottle and a quick kiss from Alanis Morissette send her running back uptown. The solution? She asks to wear a super-high pair of heels for her walk down the runway. Carrie believes her bad luck is karmic, and reluctantly hands over her favorite pair of shoes.
